Swing Into Spring Round Robin Fundraiser

  • April 19, 2018

On Sunday, April 8th, eighth grader, Gianluca Audia held an amazing Swing Into Spring Tennis Fundraiser that benefited Buddy Up Tennis. Audia is an active member of his tennis community in Lebanon, New Hampshire and feels that everyone should have the opportunity to play tennis. Through research, he learned about Buddy Up Tennis and selected our program as the beneficiary. In partnership with Positive Tracks member Liz Gray and River Valley Club Director of Tennis, Andrew Gunberg, Gianluca organized the Round Robin tennis benefit clinic.

The Swing Into Spring fundraiser raised over $8000 for Buddy Up Tennis including a $1000 donation from Positive Tracks. To learn more about Positive Tracks, an organization that “helps youth, sweat for good,” click here.

Thirty-two players joined Gianluca on the courts to support Buddy Up Tennis! Everyone had a blast including our Founding Athlete, Will Gibson.

We are so grateful for Gianluca’s hard work in planning and executing the Swing Into Spring Round Robin. Thank you, Gianluca!

Our Buddy Up Tennis Columbus team of Athletes, Buddies, and Coaches created a “Thank You” message for our friend Gianluca!

We hope to join Gianluca’s tennis community in the Fall 2018 for Buddy Up Tennis Location #21!
